100 Things

  1. I cried for the first time on this day on November 15th, 1978.
  2. Which makes me a Horse Scorpio.
  3. I’m the elder of two brothers.
  4. Sometimes, I seem to have this thought that I could have been adopted or something like that.
  5. I’m in some ways different from any other mambers of the family.
  6. I’ve been said to look like a Thai, or Malay before!
  7. People have thought that I come from a mixed parentage family. That is oh so wrong.
  8. My eyes have been commented upon numerous times before. In a good way.
  9. I find it rather tricky to get a good, fitting pair of sunshades.
  10. I prefer the wrap-around kind.
  11. But they tend to sit very close to the eyes.
  12. My eyes will get uncomfortable when that happens.
  13. My first pair which I bought is an Adidas one.
  14. People have been misled into thinking that I look younger than I am. Wasn’t intentional on my part.
  15. On the other hand, the travelling blood seems to run in me too.
  16. I was supposedly already travelling when I was still a baby.
  17. Celebrated my first birthday in China, if I’m not wrong.
  18. Had pictures to prove.
  19. Can’t remember any of it. Hey, I was only a year old.
  20. A natural leftie, although I personally feel as though I’m more inclined towards ambidextrous.
  21. Marine Blue, amongst the other shades of blue.
  22. When I was a kid, I’d wanted to be a scientist / inventor when I grew up. Circumstances changed all that.
  23. “Curiosity Show” was my inspiration then.
  24. Shy guy, that’s me. While my primary school teachers had a hard time getting the other kids to shut, they had an equally hard time getting me to talk.
  25. If I don’t talk to you, it doesn’t mean I’m stuck-up.
  26. I’m still the stubborn introvert that I am.
  27. I’m trying to change that.
  28. I’ve gotten some positive feedback already. That’s good. I’ve gotta keep it up.
  29. Eat to live.
  30. I don’t take chilli. Strange, since I grow up in an environment where spicy food is commonplace.
  31. Fries without ketchup. I occasionally take ketchup though.
  32. Beef medium-rare to medium. I like it tender and juicy.
  33. I’m a sucker for sweet stuff. That includes sweets, chocolates, cakes, pastries.
  34. Dark chocolate over milk. Anytime!
  35. Oreos dunked in COLD milk.
  36. Whipped cream!
  37. Veg is good. Ok, anything except celery and green / red pepper.
  38. Boy bands after Take That sucks.
  39. No scary movies for me. Yeah, I have a weak heart. And a mind which tends to run wild.
  40. Soothing music over rock anytime.
  41. When I was little, “Jungle Book”, “Merry Poppins” and “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” were my babysitters.
  42. Transformers, Mask & Visionaries kept me entertained in my childhood.
  43. My first foreign language film I watched was Taxi.
  44. The first foreign language film I watched in the cinemas was Amelie.
  45. I’ve been hooked to french flicks ever since.
  46. My first scary movie I watched was Event Horizon.
  47. It wasn’t my last.
  48. I hope to keep The Grudge my second and possibly last scary movie I watch.
  49. I think I’ve watched the “Back to the Future” series the most number of times.
  50. I really liked the DeLorean then.
  51. I still do.
  52. I think American Muscle Cars are great.
  53. Styling is what matters.
  54. Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500 takes the cake.
  55. I think the Mini Cooper is a really small and cute car.
  56. Cruiser bikes over road bikes.
  57. SUV over performance cars.
  58. Theme Parks are a whole lot of fun.
  59. So are Roller coasters.
  60. I want to be able to claim that I have ridden almost all of the worlds roller coasters at some point in my lifetime.
  61. Drugs are bad!
  62. And so are cigarettes.
  63. I almost tried smoking once, in a moment of folly.
  64. I didn’t, thanks to a friend. Thankfully too.
  65. I consider myself a social drinker.
  66. I think I prefer wine over beer over hard liquor.
  67. Ice Wine is simply wonderful.
  68. It’s probably the slight hint of sweetness.
  69. I usually watch my alcohol intake.
  70. The worst I have ever gotten into was a tipsy feeling.
  71. I even managed to take the night bus home.
  72. Thankfully, I’ve not been in a situation where I didn’t know what I was doing.
  73. I’ve not drunk till I puked before.
  74. Don’t plan to try either.
  75. I’m a Pc gamer at heart.
  76. I used to play lots of games in my early days.
  77. I still do, but not as much.
  78. I prefer the PC over consoles for playing games.
  79. It must be the keyboard and mouse combo.
  80. My PC is at least 3 years old now.
  81. Maybe 4.
  82. Which probably half explains why I don’t play as much games as before.
  83. It’s overclocked.
  84. Not by much. From 800MHz – 867MHz.
  85. I want to push it some more.
  86. But I’m afraid it’ll go up in smoke.
  87. I have not set aside budget for a new PC should it do so.
  88. I’m mainly into blogging right now.
  89. I first started blogging in April 2002.
  90. On April Fool’s day. And it wasn’t an April fool joke.
  91. I wasn’t using any blogging tool back then.
  92. I used Macromedia Dreamweaver and flash for the site.
  93. I was on a free web-host too.
  94. My site has undergone 3 major changes so far.
  95. The first was from Dreamweaver to Movabletype.
  96. It was this time when I finally switched to a paid web-host.
  97. The latest change was switching from Movabletype to Word Press.
  98. No regrets ever since.
  99. This 100 things took me quite a long time to compile.
  100. Finally, I’m done! Woo hoo!
